The Registrar-General may, if requested by a person referred to in subsection (1), omit registered information from the certificate if the Registrar-General reasonably believes that inclusion of the information in the certificate would prejudice the personal safety or well-being of— (a) the individual who would be the subject of the certificate; or (b) the family of the individual who would be the subject of the certificate.
