Social Security (Accident Compensation and Calculation of Weekly Income) Amendment Bill
This bill changes the rules about what happens when someone gets a benefit (like a main income support payment) from Work and Income, and then also gets accident compensation payments from ACC for the same time period. It clarifies how those payments should be calculated together so people don't receive more than they're entitled to. It also fixes the rules about how holiday pay affects your weekly income when Work and Income works out what benefit you qualify for.
